Guidelines for Poster Presentations:

What is expected?
You are expected to bring your own poster which must be in A0 format. The posters can be either landscape or portrait oriented.  The poster must include a title of the presentation and the authors of the work.

Please be advised that posters must comply with the guidelines on research integrity. If you require any clarification on these guidelines or if you have any questions please write us on pgconference@dcu.ie.

On the day of your presentation, you will be allocated a poster board with a number on it. You are expected to be near your poster during the poster sessions in order to explain your research. This being an interdisciplinary conference will have audiences outside your area of expertise. Please bear this in mind as you prepare your poster.

Regardless of what day you present you are welcome to hang up your poster for display on Thursday the 8th of November during registration and leave your poster on the board for the duration of the conference. The setup area is in a secure building that is locked at night, though the room assigned for poster presentations will not be locked. Although the chances of potential damage are very minimal, we cannot guarantee that the posters will not be damaged at all. Please keep this in mind.

We have volunteers to help out during the conference and if available, you are welcome to ask for their assistance in putting up your poster. Registration morning is expected to be busy. Thus, if you will need help setting up please come before registration starts. The full programme is available on the website.

If you wish to keep your poster for further events please ensure you remove it poster Friday the 9th of November after the conference. The poster boards require the use of velcro stickers that will be provided by the organizers. Please note, that these stickers need to be removed cautiously to avoid damaging your poster.

What do we provide?
We provide you with a poster board to display your research and a place to set it up. We will also provide velcro stickers to hold up the posters.

With thanks to the DCU Leadership and Talent Institute, the two best posters will be awarded a prize.
