Student Session 6: Technology and Digitalisation


Let’s get digital:

Registrations keep coming in and the Irish Postgraduate Research Conference (IPRC) is proud to have its sixth student session confirmed. This session will host student speakers from various universities, who will focus on the different aspects of technology and advancing technology.

The individual topics to be presented are:

  1. Facilitating Simple and More Effective Access to Online Information by Conversational Search – Abhishek Kaushik (Dublin City University)
  2. Intelligent system approach for classification and management of overdue debts – Nitanshu Rehani (Dublin Business School)
  3. Unlocking Commercial Building Energy Flexibility through Data-Driven Techniques –Anjukan Kathirgamanathan (University College Dublin)
  4. The Effect of Big Data Analytics Capability on Organizational Performance – Abdulaziz Alharbi (Dublin City University)
  5. The Machine in the Ghost: Teaching Computational Thinking to Irish students – Collette Kirwan (Dublin City University)

Each speaker will give a10-minute presentation after which the audience will get time to ask questions. Everybody is welcome to drop by and listen to the speakers.
